Matt at Snider Tranmisission made it easy. Explained what the issue was with my Jeep tranmisission and worked with my extended warranty company. I would recommend this League City location

A couple mechanic friends told me about Snider's and their great customer service. They haven't disappointed. Andy has kept me informed every step of the way on what's happening with my car and answered every question I've had. They even offered a free rental car. My car was in very good hands and I wouldn't trust anyone else.

So I went to them after hours and one of them reopened the place just to get me in. Then they worked with me by letting me do payments. Then to top it all off they were done with the trucks transmission in less than a week. Then to top the already awesomely topped off they knew that I was struggling and waiting on a check to clear so they told me to predate a check for them to hold and come get the truck!!! I feel like the 80's just came back and doing business is done with quality, kindness, and understanding. Wow! I will (if God forbid another transmission disaster comes) be returning to do business with them again.

Dropped off my car with transmission trouble and they were able to fix the car for a reasonable price and in a timely manner. Very professional and very friendly to work with. Would high recommend them to anyone. And will be a returning customer.

It has been 3 month since I took my Rav4 in for a check up... and so I got a courtesy call from the office manager telling me how they had a refund towards my account. I don't think there is a need to state the amount I believe the most important thing and what really has me thinking high of them is how important it is to them that all their customers be 100% satisfied with their service. I am very impress how they go to the top to make sure their customer is pleased in all aspects. I must say I am very happy and please with their service. They sure do know how to take care of their customers, I give them two thumbs up... way to go guys :) and again many many thanks

These people know what they are doing! They were excellent and efficient and I received good old fashioned family-owned customer service from this business. It is no wonder that they have been in business so long. They worked on my Grand Cherokee fast and were so accommodating and flexible on the pricing. I won't take a transmission job anywhere else!

I had my 2008 Honda civic worked on by these guys and they were awesome. They got me a free rental car while my car was being worked on and that helped me out a ton! Next time I hear a friend or family member say they need transmission repair, I'm going to recommend Snider in League City! Big thanks to the guys who work there!

I took my vehicle to these folks and after the "free" diagnosis, was told I didn't need a new trams., just minor repair and clean up, so I gave permission to proceed. The guy told me there was a charge of 465.00 to open it up for an accurate estimate. I thought was what the "free" diagnosis was! He said that amount would be removed if we had them do the work. Again, he assured me it didn't need a new or re-built transmission, so I told them to go ahead. Two days later, he said the repairs were going to be 2500.00!!!!! I could have gotten a re-built transmission for that at like ANYWHERE!! Then the "financing" they brag about is1500.00 down and the rest due in two weeks, but only if you have a checking account in League City!! My husband had some equipment in the vehicle he need for work that belonged to his job. They would not allow him to get it unless we paid them 500.00! This is the most disreputable place I have ever dealt and that includes used car lots!!! I will never use or recommend these thieves EVER!

I had my Lexus 300 towed to the League City location.Was confident i made the right decision after reading all the "spectacular review's" they give themselve's.Andy the head flunky there informed me that it would be 460.00 to look at it BUT! it did'nt look like it needed to be rebuilt,and if anything just a minor repair probably not much more than that for the job.Good new's i went to bed happy that night til i got the call from Andy that it would be 3,500.00.the next day. That it was so far gone they could'nt even rebuild it.It took a good minute or two for me to regain my senses.When i did i reminded him what he had said earlier.Well he said you just never know til you break it down.After a lot of back and fourth with Andy about what could be done as far as a payment plan(i just did'nt have that kind of money) he finally put the owner Matt on with me who proceeded to come after me like a pitt bull"are you accusing us of being responsible for your situation?If you don't like what we're telling you come get your car."I said calm down Matt i'm just trying to find a solution to my problem.I said i noticed on your website ehere you work with people on payment's."Usually but i need half down and can only go a max of 2 payment's with you."Why don't you go to one of those title loan places to get the money?" I told him because more than likely they'll need to see the car and in the current condition it's doubtful they would do it.He then suggested that i sign the title over to him til i pay it off.When i scoffed at that suggestion he became short with me and refused to work on it at all.So i paid them the 460.00 for what i believe to have been for nothing they did.Andy gave me a print out of the bill that was blank other than the cost of repair's.I asked him if he could please give me an explanation for what repair's were needed he reluctantly hand wrote "need's to be rebuilt" how ironic.Needless to say i did have the repair's done and by the way it was rebuilt for 1,100.00 tax included.with a one year warranty.And very satisfied with the the service i recieved.(Discount Transmission on 45) DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO SNIDER!!! we all deserve some respect especially when your spending that kind of money.
