WARNING – I am hoping this review will be sufficient to steer readers away from choosing Caliber collision in Lewisville TX #0543. I brought in my new car (10 months old!!) to be repaired for severe hail damage. After an initial pleasant experience with bringing the car in, it started to go downhill quick when we did the 1st pick up. As stated, car was 10 months old, pristine interior. We received it back, dirtier than a construction crews 20 year old truck. Black finger smudges on headliner, scratches on console, paint splatters on seats, etc. Service Manager realized the bad delivery and offered fixes, a full wash and detail. 2nd pickup was not good. Interior was cleaned by a 5 year old with an armor all wipe and white residue and more scratches appeared on the outside as well. 3rd pickup, interior was cleaned better but still had same issues and new ones popping up!!!!. I decided to take it home as keeping it with caliber would just ended up with more damage. I requested the district manager to contact me. I was contacted and was offered to bring it back again for them to resolve all issues. Other location was available but if a district manager does not keep all locations to the same standards, I was not going to go to bring it to a different one. I came to the conclusion that this back and forth with Caliber would probably result in more damage to my car, more costs to myself of taking days of work and more stress with no satisfactory solution in the end. I reached out to the Mazda dealership to discuss my situation. I replied my decision to district manager and proposed a fair financial solution to split the hit I took by trading in the tainted car. I received a call back that that is not what caliber does, they fix, not compensate. They even dared to state I didn’t give them another chance to fix, I gave them 3. Just go somewhere else, trust me. They lost a customer in me for sure, all I can do is share my experience.

Worst repair job ever!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! This place did the worst repair job ever, and the repair guy name JOE, was really rude to me and blamed me for the awful job repair they did, they fixed my bumper and it fell apart in less then 2 weeks, Joe was very unprofessional and RUDE, if you want a good job done DO NOT take it here, they don't care about you, they're going to rip you off and blame their awful job on you if, lifetime warranty was a lie, if you ever bring it back they will blame it on you, and I highly do not recommend Joe, he was a big time jerk!!

I took my car in to be repaire...

I took my car in to be repaired at the beginning of August, and while I wasn't terribly impressed with the initial 2-3 weeks it would take to repair it, I didn't think it was THAT bad, especially given the original completion due date of 9/1. (This garage was nationwide recommended and my representative was Craig, the nationwide rep.)



We're now at two days short of a month, last week they finally took the car apart (on the original 'completion date) and realized they would need a piece that they could only order from Michigan, but the rep swore up and down it'd be ready the day after they received the missing piece.



Early Wednesday of this week the piece finally arrived, when we asked if it'd be ready for pick up soon he said 'early Thursday'.



The next day rolls around (Thursday) and we're sent a text message saying the project is due to be completed by 9/16 at 1PM. I called the rep back asking about the text, but he was on lunch, and called me back at 2:30, saying the car needed about three more hours of work.



Trying to get some kind of definitive date out of him, I asked "So it wont be ready today then?" Not only would he not say yes to a completion time/date, he also wouldn't say no.



Lo and behold, Friday morning rolls around. First thing I call to check on the car and am informed that 'it should be ready by lunch, IF the technician doesn't need any more parts.'



It's now 3PM. I called at 2:15 after being told the representative would call me back 'in fifteen minutes' at 1:30, only to be informed that he hadn't even checked the status of the car and 'would call me back in five minutes'. I finally called back AGAIN at 1:45, asking for an update. I was informed there was 'at least another hours worth of work' left.





This place is horrible at timeliness, estimations on amounts of work left to be completed, and returning phone calls.

Caliber Collision in Lewisvill...

Caliber Collision in Lewisville did a fantastic job on my vehicle. Joey was my service provider and he was incredibly competent, readily available and was willing to work with me. I had additional work done on my vehicle that was not covered by insurance. Their prices were highly competitive and I do not feel as though I had been taken advantage of. (I priced these items through the dealership and 2 other locations - calibers prices were fantastic) My vehicle looks like brand new. I felt like I was getting in a new car when I drove away. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and they were able to get my vehicle done only 1 day past the expected date which was incredible, considering during that time we had 2 major hail storms come through our area. I would highly recommend them. If you don't believe me, go in and speak with Joey for yourself and make your own judgment. :-)

Highly Recommend!!!

I picked up my car this morning from Caliber Collision in Lewisville and my truck looks better than it did prior to my accident. I will definatly be returning here if I have any more repairs to my truck!!! My service advisor Brian Payne keep me in the loop on everything that was happening. Even the manager Shawn came out to shake my hand. Couldn't have had a easier experience.

Bad Service, Lazy People

Worst sevice I have ever received! It took them two months to fix my car, and when I finally got it back, they hadn't even replaced my front bumper that had been cracked and scratched! They did, however, fix my back bumper, but now the back window doesn't roll down and the back windshield wiper doesn't work! You will be wasting your time and money if you ever take your car to this place!
