Altman, David, ATY

This man deserves no stars. He was supposed to be representing me on a Personal Injury case in 2010. He pretended to have filed the papers, handle the case (I have documentation) and then, close to the deadline of two years, he wrote that an 'associate' would be working on the case and he was going to Utah. I found out he had filed nothing, had not paid medical bills, and had SOLD my case, yes SOLD it to another attorney, one with a barely literate secretary or 'paralegal', as she termed herself, who could not write one message without errors. Then this new hack dropped out of the case suddenly. I have since spoken to real attorneys who agree that this actual SELLING of cases is fairly common when the seller (like Altman) deliberately collects cases, does nothing with them but pretends to, and then sells them to a buyer who wants to make fast money. Well, the case apparently got too complicated because these are not the brightest attorneys- one is a con man and the other a complete bungler who made enemies in Texas and had to leave that state, and saw he actually had to work on my case, so he dropped that too. And Altman? Why isn't he still in Beverly Hills? Oh, and do you REALLY think he has expertise in ALL of those areas he advertises? Wake up, Utah, and do some research before you get taken in, too. Have just completed my formal complaint to the California State Bar, with a written complaint to the Utah State Bar, for what that is worth.
