They were really helpful and honest. I would reccomend to anyone. Ok selection of cars and professional approach. If you know your way around cars you can even chat it up with them.

they just sold me a complete lemon wrapped in a good looking skin. They oakey rigged the heating core, ignored the oil sending unit, completely shot spark plugs and wiring. They oakey rig everything so the car seems like a good buy and once you leave with it you discover how bad the car really is. Drove 374 miles and could have died bringing the car back. They kept saying how their mechanic looks over everything, how could he have not noticed the heating core was bypassed, the wiring was bad, the spark plugs were shot. Just like the previous post they told me it was perfect over the phone. Now they want me to bring it all the way back down there to their terrible oakey rig mechanic...no way. They need to pick up the car and give me my money back or pay for the repairs by my mechanic but all I got was hung up on. PLEASE PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE THEY SELL WELL DRESSED LEMONS!!!!! and none of them are very keen on even telling you their names, that should have been a huge red flag. I just read a previous post and they mention that they have a machine to reset their check engine lights, they did the same thing to my car because it came on about 70 miles after i left there.

I bought a 2002 VW Bug from Balout for my 17 year old daughter. i thought that the car was a good price, and a good car for a new driver. She loved it. The guys were honest and upfront about the car's history. We had a little trouble with it shortly after purchasing, and they were very helpful in getting things handled 100%.



I don't expect a "perfect car" when I buy a used car. But what I do find most important is honesty and customer service. I thought that the owners of Balout met my expectations in both, and for this reason I'd recommend them to anyone.

the dealer the main skinny guy seemed kinda interested in me shopping there and then there was this bigger guy that seems to be aggravated to whatever you say to them they're just like "take it and go " , and the last guy that was there seem to laugh at my business when i was there like if i was some kind of joke.they seem to know nothing about their vehicles there. i had noticed that they were fixing there cars there and had the engine check light diagnose computer to reset it.. when i bought my vehicle from them they said it was good and no problems. as i drove it for two weeks i started experiencing problems like no other my check engine light went off brakes were poor and i had now spent 900 dollars on this darn car….all lies to get me to buy it and go also after the deal was made along with our contract that clearly states that i do not have to pay anything else from what i signed for,, they still had the guts to tell me i had to pay for new plates when in the deal i had already payed for them i wanted to take legal action on this but didn't really want to make a huge fuzz about it so if you are looking for a car don't go there

Stay away from these guys. I recently purchased a car and they promised me everything is fine with the car and nothing is on the horizon that needs to be fixed. Now, only 3 weeks later I already spent $1,000 for four new struts (oil is leaking on three tires), air filter (black) and the top mount (torn). Yes I do not know much about cars, THAT IS WHY I chose to buy from a "dealer"! Lesson learned. Their very professional response to my complaint was: "I showed you more than 20 cars bro, you picked it out not me". Their slogan should be: "Buying a car from BALOUT AUTO SALES is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you'll get." One might catch on fire, or the brakes might go out, or one might even blow up, remember, you pick it not him! Bottom line: A dealer should have responsibilities. I was going to refer them big time, well not anymore. They're a rip off.
