David S. Whitcomb, M.D., graduated from Harvard University in 1972 and from Emory University School of Medicine in 1976. He completed his internship at Brown Univeristy in 1977. Subsequently, he served two years with the Public Health Service in Dawsonville, GA, and then worked for 10 years as an Emergency Room physician. Upon completetion of a residency in Neurology at the Medical Univeristy of South Carolina in 1993, he opened a private Neurology practice in Marietta, GA. He became board certified in 1996 and is a fellow of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). He recertified in 2006. Dr. Whitcomb is committed to continuing education and remaining abreast of current trends in Neurological diagnostics and treatments.
