I found SML Auto Sales accidentally on Craigslist, and that was the best thing that could have happened to me after looking for a car for over a week. Johnny is absolutely the best! He found the exact car that we wanted within the budget we wanted, and it was absolutely perfect! I initially had reservations about buying from the auction, but Johnny did a great job in explaining the process and ultimately relieving my fears. I shopped for a vehicle for months before finally Purchasing a Honda CR-V from Johnny. Great guy he really cares about bringing quality used vehicles to his customers. He was completely upfront about the vehicle and his business, and we felt he valued us a people as well as customers. When we first went to test drive Johnny had already scheduled to have the airbag recall replaced something that NO OTHER sales person was willing to do during my search. We put down a deposit to hold the vehicle until the repair was made and financing came through which took about 3 days. I LOVE MY NEW CR-V completely clean insides and out and drives like a dream! My experience with Johnny at SML Auto was a surprise the cars were well taken care of. He was on time for the appointment,and his professionalism was very impressive. The vehicle that I saw on the internet was the vehicle that was presented to me. I am a very hard person to satisfy when it comes to purchasing vehicles. The paperwork was in order and the price was fare. I would be comfortable sending someone to SML Auto to purchase a vehicle.I am a police officer and it is not easy to pull one over on me, but he did not attempt to.

Don't waste your time with this clown! Johnny is a fast talking, game-playing liar. He negotiated a deal with me to purchase his car, sent me to the bank for cash and then sold it to someone else during the 10 minutes I was at the bank. A man is only as good as his word and Johnny's word is garbage.

Johnny was so professional. This was the first time I have ever tried to buy my own car and he not only made it completely easy, but transparent. I knew exactly where my money was going and why. He was able to get me the car I wanted at 4000 less then what other dealers in the area were asking for the same one!

Not only would I use him again I have already recommended him to 3 of my friends looking to get cars in the next year.

I saw a craigslist ad for a 2008 Honda CR-V that was in excellent condition with about 35k miles and in my price range. Called Johnny on a Saturday to inquire about this vehicle. Since I live in middle Georgia, I made an appointment to inspect this vehicle. He was there on time just like he said. Very nice to deal with. No high pressure sales pitch. Basically here's the car, look it over, test drive it and if you want it Ok, if you don't that will be Ok too. The car was everything he had stated in the ad. No surprises. We bought the car. Title came in the mail a few days later. Very happy with my purchase. Would buy from him again without hesitation.

My husband and I had had a plan to buy a car for me in a year or so. I had started to do my research on the Honda CR-V. I came across the advertisement of the car which meets all our criteria: low mileage, leather seats in excellent condition. SML Auto Sales was offering the exact car I was looking for! Plus to that they had it posted for a price lower than others dealers. My husband was a bit skeptical to buy a car from a dealer he never heard of but had decided to try because the car was looking so good. I am so happy that he made this decision! I love my car!

WHY IS CAR BUYING SO HARD!!! Those were the words my wife and I said to each other after nearly 2 months of looking. Craigslist, AutoTrader, CarGuru, Cars.com… you name it we tried all the tools available to us with no luck.



I’ll admit we made it hard on ourselves. My wife was very specific that it be a Silver Camry SE, light ash cloth interior, sunroof, spoiler, no push button start, low miles, and then compound that with the fact we’re both very particular about the condition of our cars… oh, did I mention it had to be a 2011 model?



I had come across SML Auto Sales on AutoTrader and checked out his web site and was intrigued with his Customer Buy Program. I called Johnny and spoke to him about what we were looking for. He was confident that he could find the exact car my wife wanted and invited us to his office to see a live auction and explain the whole process in detail. We scheduled an appointment, saw the whole process and set the task for him to find my wife her car.



Throughout the search Johnny kept in touch via text messages, phone calls, and email. Then one evening he called and told me a car that met all our specifics was to be auctioned the next morning. He emailed all the pertinent info with pictures for us to verify and sure enough it was the car we wanted and still under manufacturer’s warranty! Unfortunately we weren’t able to be there for the auction but Johnny videoed it and sent it to us. I honestly don’t know who was more excited, Johnny or us?



We’ve had the car a couple of weeks now and are very pleased. Dealing with Johnny was a pleasure. He’s up front about everything and genuinely concerned that you drive away completely satisfied. Car buying used to be hard until we met Johnny.

After having laughable experiences shopping at three diferent major dealerships, my wife and I decided to give a smaller dealership a try and it was definitely the right call. Johnny was more than helpful when it came to our purchase, even when it looked like it might not happen he helped us make sure it did (thats more than I can say about the majors we went to). "I became acquainted with "SML Auto Sales", via my search for a well maintained pre-owned vehicle. Via the Internet, I came across a number of private and dealer ad sales.



A short time ago, sellers of items employed effort and possessed a sense of pride, when electing to sell their possessions. Currently, this way of life has sadly disappeared, thus leaving us with an environment where people just do not care about what they sell, how they sell, what condition their possessions are in and a price which is fair to all parties.



Two days prior towards becoming acquainted with "SML Auto Sales", I took off of work and spent the time visiting selected sellers. During that time, there were two appointments which were confirmed; however, the sellers never showed up thus seriously wasting my time and gas money. Then there were the situations where the intended vehicles failed to appear as in the picture which it was advertised; not to mentioned the lack of cleanliness which a large number of vehicles possessed.



I continued my search and was blessed by contacting "SML" for a vehicle, which unfortunately was sold; however, a conversation ensued and an inquiry was conducted regarding other vehicles which could be purchased. Via this discussion a vehicle was identified and an appointment time to examine the vehicle was scheduled.



Unlike the other sellers, the owner of "SML" was highly professional and kept his appointment. We met at an agreed location and agreed to allow the vehicle to be examined by a nearby mechanic of my choice. The vehicle flawlessly passed inspection, so much so that the mechanic wanted to purchase the vehicle if I had not chosen not to. The purchase was a cash transaction which took about twenty minutes to complete. When I brought the vehicle home, my family members and friends were extremely elated and pleased regarding my purchase. Without hesitation, I'm totally pleased with my purchase and relationship with "SML Auto Sales"; as well as that I would and will highly recommend them to my friends and family. You will not regret it."

Outstanding service from Johnny Lee at SML Auto Sales. I saw an ad on a 2012 Toyota Camry with 17k miles and called the number, and lets just say Johnny was my car Angel. I prayed that God will me to lead me to the right place and the right person for a 2012 Camry with low mileage, and my prayer was answered when I met Johnny and saw the car the first time. Presentation is everything, the car was immaculate on the inside and outside. I saw the car on Saturday and purchased on Monday. I was so impressed with Johnny's professionalism, honesty, and confidence. God is good and I am so grateful, He allowed our paths to cross. I will highly recommend him to friends looking to purchase a car.

Last year I was looking for an upgrade from my truck, and was leaning towards an Infiniti. I looked at numerous cars and had them taken in to my mechanic to find out they had a bunch of internal issues. When I found my Infiniti from SML auto sales, I was told the car would check out and he stands behind his cars. Six months later the car drives perfectly and I have never had a problem. Also, Johnny keeps in touch even to this day and are very great people. I highly recommend buying your car from here.

I called SML last week in need of two Camry SEs. I located one of them in his inventory immediately. Johnny was very responsive and knowledgeable, answering all of my questions and more. We quickly came to an agreed upon price, and scheduled a time to complete the sale. Since I was from out of town, he took it upon himself to Skype with me and show me every possible detail of the car before I drove 3 hours to see it. In my experience, there are not many honest people in the car business, but Johnny is one of them. There was no haggling and no broken promises. He delivered on every single commitment that he said he would. In fact, I enjoyed the experience so much that I guaranteed him my business for the second Camry and will likely be back to pick it up next weekend. If you want dealer quality (or better), great prices, and the benefit of not having to deal with the traditional car salesman, then SML should be your first stop. If he doesn't have your dream car, he can get it quickly and his quality standards are higher than most consumer standards.

After my car was totaled in an accident in late November, I spent about a month looking at vehicles through CarMax, AutoTrader, Craigslist, etc. Trying to stay within the insurance proceeds on the price and getting a comparable replacement for my Acura was extremely challenging. Add to that the number of people out there who do not respond to emails, or call you back and it became quite frustrating. I stumbled on SML Auto Sales through an ad on Craigslist for a car that roughly fit my parameters.

Johnny Lee, the proprietor, met us at his office where my son and I test drove the car – a beautifully maintained 2007 Infiniti G35x. Johnny was professional, engaging and informative, and best of all, no pressure! I told him that while I liked the car, it had a few more miles on it than we wanted, and he totally understood. He walked us through the process of how he purchased, inspected and serviced his cars and offered to help us find exactly what we were looking for. When I asked him when we could get started (this was a late Saturday afternoon), he said he needed just a few minutes. He drove home to grab his laptop and about 15 minutes later we were sitting in his office looking at used inventory available to dealers all over the US.

Johnny spent more than an hour with us explaining the process and showing us the inventory online. He provided total transparency to the process, which is pretty much unheard of in this industry. It is clear that Johnny is very passionate about what he does – and very meticulous. We talked more about the car that we test drove and Johnny told us about what he did during the evaluation process of the vehicle and what maintenance had been performed – the same process he uses with all of his cars. We left about two hours after initially meeting Johnny and told him we’d check back with him in a few days to see what new cars were available.

On the way home, my son and I discussed the car we drove and how Johnny made us feel comfortable about the process. We talked about how reasonable the price was compared to what we had seen elsewhere, and how the mileage was still less than what was on my Acura when it was totaled. Long story, short, I ended up buying the Infiniti two days later. It’s an amazing car by the way.

Overall, the process was simple and painless and I would not hesitate to buy from Johnny and SML again. I actually look forward to purchasing my wife’s next car (probably this year) and being able to work the process with Johnny when we actually have time to go through the inventory over a longer period. This experience definitely changed the way I look at the car buying process.
