General Info

Dr. Scott Groat was raised in Fort Walton Beach, Florida and graduated from Fort Walton Beach High School in 1977. He went on to the University of Dayton in Ohio on a football scholarship earning a degree in Biological Sciences in 1981. He earned his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, (now Kent State University), where he graduated as a member of the Pi Delta National Podiatric Honor Society in 1986. Dr. Groat then chose to further his training by completing a residency program in Memphis, Tennessee. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Groat resides in Shalimar, Florida with his wife of 30 years Teresa, whom is a Kindergarten teacher. They have two grown children and presently three grandsons. For the best care possible put your feet in his hands!
