Upon his return from service in World War II, John Adams founded the Adams Electric Sign Company. He began painting signs in his garage and soon moved to four buildings in downtown Massillon, OH. While at that location, John pioneered the fabrication of plastic sign faces, and was the first to offer complete custom signage to northeast Ohio. In 1982, Adams Signs and Graphics, built a new, 70,000 sq. ft facility in the Massillon Industrial Park. Nearly 90% of our space is devoted to sign manufacturing. Following founder John Adams’ death in 1990, the business was sold to its current ownership. We’ve expanded to include regional office locations in Cleveland, Akron, Columbus, Detroit and Pittsburgh. Still family-owned and still headquartered in Massillon, we have a fleet of company owned installation and service vehicles, and a national network of sign installation professionals. Our clients enjoy the services of a dedicated account manager to manage each project, big and small! We constantly explore new signage and branding technologies. Our in-house design and manufacturing facilities, located in the heart of Ohio, have produced award winning signs for more than 70 years, with a special emphasis on creativity, quality fabrication, state-of-the-art machinery, equipment and digital technology. All of our illuminated signs are UL 2161-compliant for safety and durability. We use only the highest quality materials in the manufacture and illumination of the signs we create. In addition to complete plastic fabrication facilities, Adam Signs maintains a fully appointed wood shop for custom die making and other wood applications. We also have a full-time neon plant with skilled technicians who can create, repair and replace quality neon signs for most indoor and outdoor applications. We are equipped to produce a full range of wide-format, highly durable outdoor signs for virtually any application and to any specification. With regional offices in Cleveland, Akron, Columbus, Detroit, and Pittsburgh, Adams Signs & Graphics is committed to delivering signage solutions that meet your unique needs.
