Progressive Dog Training

My boyfriend and I brought our dachshund puppy Oscar to Wendy Young's beginner dog training class! We are happy with the results of the training. We went into the class and Oscar really did not even know how to sit on command. We are both first time dog owners and I wanted to make sure we got the most out of the training for Oscar because we really didn't even know where to begin. I found Wendy's website and really liked that she had so much experience with dogs/dog training and like that the class sizes for training were kept small. Wendy's way of training includes positive reinforcement, using treats is key and practicing at home definitely helps see better, quicker results! Overall we are definitely happy with the results of the training. We definitely have to continue with the training on our own and continue to reinforce! Thanks Wendy :-) We would definitely recommend!

Wendy Young is a compassionate, knowledgeable dog trainer. We had an awful time housebreaking our dog, as well as major obedience issues. After taking Wendys class and a few phone consultations, our baby is well behaved and housebroken. What impressed me the most was Wendy's gentle, positive reinforcement techniques, as well as her desire for you to learn WHY you are doing what you doing and why your dog gets it. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for a dog trainer!!!!
