Idaho Recovery Specialist

I would not use these guys at all they are the worst company in the history of tow companies when my wife rolled her Jeep Mr. Terry Benson would not let us get her bipolar meds he continued to say that he didn't care if she lived or died BSU game was more important. Lucky I was able to find some around here. I feel a company that is being used by it Ada County Sheriff's Department should be held to a higher standard and definitely not be insulting customers that have no choice in a tow company. I would never hire them period!!

Do NOT use! I had a car that was towed here, and insurance had them freeze any more charges until the check arrived. Once I got the check I called Idaho recovery specialist that I was going to pick up my car. He told me he was going to charge me more. I had to pay out of my own pocket because of these jerks! Stay very far away from these scam artists, if you are in an accident and they want your vehicle towed here, please go elsewhere.

I recently had the misfortune off having my car towed by Idaho Recovery Specialists. During the process of trying to get my car back I was told by Terry(the only person I could ever get a hold of) that I had called too many times and that if I called any more that I would then receive a 100 dollar fee on my bill. Then when I was finally able to afford to pick my car up my bill was 80 dollars more than he had quoted me on the phone. Which had to be paid in cash, and you better bring exact change because they will not give you any. I wonder how much of that ends up in his pocket. Terry is about the most dishonest person I have ever dealt with in my life, I just cannot believe our local law enforcement would work in partner with such people. What is this community coming to when you can lie and cheat people out of their money while working with law enforcement. I would encourage anyone reading this post to file a complaint against Idaho Recovery Specialists with local law enforcement. With any luck we can stop people like them from abusing innocent people. I would not recommend this towing company to anyone.

I had the unfortunate opportunity to do business with Idaho Recovery Specialist, LLC. I found Terry to be very unprofessional. I asked what it would cost to tow my car from the intersection of Ustick and Lindor to my home near Capital High School. He told me $165.00, I found that to be high, and said so. He told me he would only take cash. When he arrived at my home he told me it was $197.80. I said you quoted me $165.00 and commented as I headed to get more cash, that I hoped he was never in a situation where he needed help. He told me he didn't like my attitude and he was taking my car to his impound lot, I would be required to pay an impound fee and $35.00 per day! He told me he would not release the car to me, only my son. I told him my name is on the title. He said not as far as he knew. When I picked it up the next day I was told the car would not be released to me. I showed the title with my name. I was charged $287.00! I do not recommend this company under any circumstance. The worst towing experience ever.
