Transmission Center

Walked into transmission center with what I thought was a serious problem with my vehicle!! A few other mechanics advised me that it would cost more than 2k to fix . After it was diagnosed by Transmission center only a small hose needed to be replaced. Cost less than a 100$. Great honest people are what makes this company worth coming back too. Thanks again

Brought my truck in to get the transmission fully rebuilt and when I got there after it being done I noticed a dent in my bumper with yellow paint on it and it was obvious that they backed up into a wall barrier behind their shop and upon bringing up the damage, a worker backed up a red truck into a white car. I dont know to laugh or cry.. from laughter at how big of a joke this place is. The one star is for them agreeing to fix the dent.

so my transmission has been kicking so i decided to ge get it checked out, i went to tri city and was adv on exact problem and was adv would be $900 to fix, so 2nd optinion took it to amco and was pretty much quoted the same price after keeping it over night for inspection, so then i decide to take it here and was quoted $500 after them checking it out for 5 mins with a test drive and pulled up the same exact code tri city and ammco did,so before leaving i asked the bald guy at the front i am really tight on money so if this does not fix the problem, then what and word for word he said "then you dont pay" so ok great, he told me to bring it inthe morning to get the selenoids replaced, so i asked him how do you knoe bcause ammco told me the code just stated there is an external/internal issue, it could be anything thats needs replaced, so how are you guys knowing by 5 minsutes from a code reader and a test drive and he was like because he knows thats what it is, so i have my husband bring my car in the morning not only did nobody knoe anything about my car being there they also didint know what was suppose to be fixed, after figuring that out i called them aroung 2:00pm ans asked if it was ready and he said they was JUST getting started on it, ok, so they called 4:00 and told me my car was ready so immeidiatly when my husband picked my car up even worse jerking just horrible so i just start to cry, not only did i use money i did not have so we can maintain a reliable vehicle but i just waited $500 on them to do NOTHING. so i take it back and he said there wasn othing that they could do, they fixed it by the code that was produced and if i want it repaird that i would have to spend 1400 to 2400 for a transmission rebuild, and this is without him even checking the car, this is his own judgement, so not only was my car only being repaired for not even 2 hours, looking at my receipt the parts only cost $84, and taxes was $35 so i just paid them $400 in labor that i could of had someone else do or could of just paid amco the extra $400 to make sure EVERYTHING was done right, i WILL NEVER go here again, and i will NOT recommend this shop to NOONE unless you want to be taken advantage of and paying them all of you hard erned money just to leave with the same transmission problem, Now he tells me to brng in a cluster gear and he will fix it, took it to ammco had the job fixed in 3 days and didnt even need a cluster gear,haha this shop is about guessing and money, i wish i would of read this review before taking my car in
