I am the manager of Yale Dermatology - Middlebury and would like to thank you for providing us with constructive criticism so that we can continue to make improvements in our office.

We understand your concern about the space constraints of the in-office phone registration. That is why, when scheduling a new-patient appointment, it is strongly suggested that one completes the registration prior to the appointment date, and from the privacy of one's own home. Using the office phone to register is not standard practice for our patients, but is offered as a convenience for those who could not do it beforehand and who may not have access to a mobile phone.

We will be moving to new office space soon and this issue will be addressed. Again, thank you for your comment and we look forward to serving you in the future.

Not HIPPA complaint. They make you register over a phone in the waiting room where everyone can hear your personal information. SSN, home address, etc. Was addressed with front desk that thus couldn't possibly be HIPPA compliant and the desk worker says "I know, we're working on it...I'll let admin know". Another woman behind the counter says "That's why we send you the mailer home, so you font have to do it by the phone". The first woman says, in a derogatory voice, "He just made the apt yesterday". I corrected them and said "Actually, it was his PCP who made the apt yesterday". All went silent.

Won't accept my 18 year old son as a patient because he's on husky insurance. I guess it's all about money.

Very disappointed, I am limited to certain days that I can schedule appointment and so I had to wait 6 months for an appointment. A month before my appointment I receive a letter that they have to reschedule my appointment, unfortunately it fell on a day I was unable to go in due to work. When I called to office to explain this I was told that if I do not go to this appointment they will not be able to see me anymore. Even though there was a note in my folder about what days I can come in, I was still denied to reschedule. So I waited 6 months for nothing and have to find a new doctor.
