Brought my car there about a year ago because there was no cold air coming through vents when i put air condition on.The "mechanic" sets an appointment for the following week to check it and he will tell me exactly what is wrong for 40 dollars.I go there and drop car off in front building and let him look over it.I noticed him driving my car to the side of building so i walk over to that side.Very suspicious to me.He takes a gauge and starts touching things around car so i assume he is trying to find out what the problem is.He and another mechanic approach me and attempt to convince me to have them put dye in for 120 dollars plus and he tells me he still might not know what the problem is.This is not my first rodeo so i tell him to bring my car out.He pulls car out and has the audacity to charge me 20 dollars for doing nothing which i paid so i didnt have to argue with him. After leaving "mechanic" shop i decide to buy a can of freon with gauge to try myself, worth the money if it works or does not. I noticed an antifreeze leak so i pop hood open and notice a needle nose hole in the small black radiator hose where the antifreeze was coming out of.This was just after i left "mechanic" shop.I fix that issue. So back to air condition issue i bought a can of freon with gauge, learned how to do it with low port high port etc.The clutch engaged once the freon went in.Problem solved and i assume the"mechanic" should have known this was the problem but he was trying to scam me and possibly tried damaging my car all at once.
