Dr. Mel has been the doctor for me and my whole family since I was a child. I have nothing but good things to say. He has been nothing but wonderful to me and my family. I have seen many different doctors over my lifetime and they all have been worthless. Dr. Mel is truly someone that cares and deserves nothing but respect from everyone. The staff has always been wonderful to me. I find it disgusting that people have posted negative reviews of any kind. This just shows how ignorant those “whiners” are.
Thank you Dr. Mel and staff for always being dependable and trustworthy.

Dr. Mel stayed open for me beyond normal hours for an urgent visit. I called just before closing and he stayed for me. I appreciated this so much as he is a very kind Dr. and gave me great comfort. Showing me the EKG as it was happening. He has taken care of 3 of my Grandchildren as they have asthma issues. Yes it was expensive, but well worth it and I had zero issues with the time frame for billing. The staff was so nice over the phone, asking if I was feeling better and even the off-site billing agent wrote a note and said "Hope you are feeling better".

I had the same experience. They did not send a bill for 2 months. I paid it then I received a 2nd bill dated 6-19-11 and post marked on envelope 7-22-11. I mentioned this to her and she says"thank you for your opinion." What? That is a fact. Pretty shoddy operation. Very low class equipment and furnishing. Made me buy some medication that I did not even need. I called because they had wrong insurance information on the bill. She was very rude, would not let me talk. And tells me the insurance info is what I gave them. Baloney, it is not even what is on the card. They need to be reported to the BBB and put out of business. I wanted to email her a scanned image of the card with correct information and she says they don't have email and won't for some time. Now what business operates without email? Pathetic.

I received a bill 3months afte...

I received a bill 3months after seeing the doctor for my illness. When speaking to George, the "Manager/Biller" he indicated that he had done all he would to get my claim paid and that I had to take care of the claim myself. When asked he indicated that HE billed the insurance and the insurance processed the claim under the incorrect subscriber number. He also stated he resubmitted and got a denial due to duplicate.

This is where his job stopped. He refused to call the insurance to check on why this happened and he refused to send me a full statement as requested, or copies of denials so I could dig in further.

George is rude and not at all helpful!!

I will not be returning to this facility because of George. He clearly does not enjoy his job as a biller, nor does he like to be helpful!
