I trust these guys wholly and have for years, They have had MANY opportunities to overcharge me or do all sorts of unethical things, and never once have I had any issues. I truly without reservation recommend them, and only stumbled across this page because I was looking up the phone number, even though once I saw it I knew I already knew it by heart.

Totally unprofessional, refused me towing services; even though I have AAA and they are a AAA towing vendor. Person at the counter was rude, I was forced to pay out of pocket for towing and had to wait two days to get my vehicle home. Don't go to T & B Motors for service, you won't get it.

This is most honest place in town. The crew there has been working on my cars for years (since Bruce was there!!) and I'm never disappointed. The price is fair, service is exceptional and the job is done right the first time. Steve always lets me know what is going on with my car and helps to prioritize the repairs to stay within my budget. Thanks for everything!

I bought a preowned car from T and B 6 months ago and have not had any problems at all since. It runs BEAUTIFULLY. I can't believe how nice a vehicle I got for such a reasonable price. Not only that but the staff at T and B is extremely friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. They put everything they possibly can into addressing a customer's needs and giving them the best experience possible. And I truly, truly did recieve the best, most attentive service. I drive from East Hartford to get my car serviced here, and it's completely worth it. I could never and would never go anywhere else for car assistance. They are the BEST.

YOU HAVE TO USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!! STEVE (THE MANAGER), was off duty and was just stopping for dinner on his way home, when we asked for his oppion and he worked on our car with us (free of charge) for almost 3 hours!! I kept telling him, "Thanks and I would buy him dinner or a bottle of something and that he could go home, but he said "No, I want to make sure you got back on the road!" I forgot to mention, we were an hour and a half away from home, it was after 9 pm on a Saturday night!!! With two 11 week old puppies we just rescuded from a shelter, a 2 yr old and it was in the high 80's with high humidity (when the sun went down)! It's not like he had nothing better to do, He had a wife and an eleven month old baby at home waiting for him! I am SO GREATFUL THAT WE MET HIM AND WILL ALWAYS RECOMMEND HIS COMPANY AND WISH HIM AND HIS FAMILY THE VERY BEST OF EVERYTHING!! THANKS AGAIN STEVE!!

I rented a truck to go on vacation. Took the dogs. One of the dogs hit the door lock button with her paw and locked us out of the truck. Not a good way to start a vacation. Called AAA and then sent T&B motors. They were busy so it took a little while to show up, but when the wrecker arrived, the driver had my door unlocked in 10 seconds and no damage to the rental. Thanks for saving me.

Transmission went on my Ford F350. Fixed it quick at a reasonable price. Several months now and no problems. Saved my old truck from the scrap heap.

T&B is the towing service you get when you call AAA in Willimantic (a fact I'm working to change). For the meantime, I suggest that if you live in Willimantic or the surrounding area, you look at other options for road side assistance.



I called AAA because I had a flat tire and a jack I didn't trust. T&B's charming driver showed up in the time frame he was supposed to, but that was about all that went right. When he arrived, he was much more occupied with talking on his cell phone than with changing my tire. He jacked the car up slightly, and proceeded to go to town on the lug nuts, jumping up and down on the tire iron to loosen them. Now, I know that sometimes they require some real force, but the level of aggression this guy was taking out on my car was unreasonable.



The real evidence that he was cranking too hard came when he snapped one of the studs that hold the wheel to the hub. "Oh well, you only have four now" was his only response. Never an apology or a remark that this was a problem. I stopped him before he broke anything else and had him tow the car to a tire place which was able to get the remaining lug nuts off without a problem.



Here's where it gets really bad: in order to replace the broken stud, the hub assembly must be taken apart, a job for which the local tire place wants $230. T&B has refused to take any responsibility for this, and everyone I have talked to has been rude and acted as though they were doing me a favor by breaking my car. So, beware making AAA calls in this area, and stay away from T&B, unless you want a simple repair (the cost to fix the flat tire at the tire shop was $18) to turn into a $200 fix.
