Griffith's service station

I would only buy gas there, on the other hand I would never have any vehicle services here. I was treated as if my vehicle or money did not matter to them. I do not understand in this day and age that doing a job properly is not valued. Then when presented with not doing the job properly getting confrontational and basically insulting the shop that did the service correctly. I will never use their services again,I will also urge people that I know personally and in business to next time drive down the street.

Griffiths Shell is a true, old time SERVICE station. The Griffith's are small business people who take great care of their customers and their employee's. Their service is second to none.



Also, regarding the 12/09 post about the $10.00 gas purchase for air. DID YOU ASK THEM ABOUT THAT??? If you are the long time customer you represent yourself to be, then you would have known to ask and not only would they have been glad to accomodate you, they likely would have put the air in the tires for you as a courtesy. That sign was put up in response to sheer abuse by people who would pull their raggedy cars up, block the full service lane and the other side of the pumps as well and take 15 minutes to check the air in their tires, not buy a dimes worth of anything, and then go buy their gas somewhere else for 3 cents a gallon less.

I have been working in the downtown area for 20 yrs and using Griffith Shell throughout that time.

Imagine my surprise when the other day I had a tire going flat and I go to the this station to discover that you have to purchase $10 in gas in order to use their air. It just so happened that I didn't have $10 that day. A friend helped me use the air machine on the side of the building due to my handicap and asked to just use the tire pressure gauge and they refused because we were not a paying customer on that particular day.

I have been a customer since I first started driving which was over 25 yrs. but I will no longer consider myself a customer anymore.

So you can keep your tire gauge and your air and may you get all that you deserve.

As I said I have worked in the downtown area and I have always recommended this station to all the people I work with and all the people that come in where I work. No more. You have lost my business and my advertisement.
