We purchased a vehicle from Randy Marion Chevrolet in Mooresville, NC on June 30, 2015. We are pleased with the vehicle, the sale person we had was also outstanding, but the finance department is something to be desired. When the vehicle was traded in I contacted GM Financial (Lien holder) and told them it was traded in, gave them the dealership name with the address and phone number. We always do this after trading in a vehicle in case it takes a week or two to send the payoff. Well 42 days goes by and I get an alert that I missed a payment on a car that I no longer own. I called GM Financial and asked about it and they told me that the dealership never sent them the payment. SO I called Randy Marion to find out what was going on and they said that the payment was sent on the first part of July. Calling back GM Financial to report this, they claimed they never received the payment. So I called the dealership back and had them call GM Financial, they worked out that the payment would be sent overnight. So I waited another 60 days for my credit report to be updated and it was not. I called back to GM Financial and they told me that because we were on the note, that we were responsible for the balance. I called Randy Marion back once more and asked for the information they had on the first check that was sent, waiting for it to be sent to me. My question, which was not answered, was how did they get a payoff and not a correct address to send the payoff? What kind of finance department does not follow up on a payoff? How is it that they sold the vehicle that was traded in before paying it off? To me this substandard practices and why they get 1 star.

Went there to view the Corvette Stingray and see how it compares against our SL55 or my wife's BMW. We quickly realized a Corvette dealer is still a chevy dealership and that's the kind of service we got from the moment we arrived at Randy Marion. Salesman smelled like an ashtray, lot was cramped, and they only had 3 cars on the lot, all "selling above MSRP" according to the salesman. He asked us nothing about our needs, our goals, or our reason for interest in this car - literally asked us nothing. He did tell us he only deals with "serious buyers" and wanted to know we were serious before letting us test drive the car. We walked out as fast as we could. This is a dealership that is set up to pressure you by making you feel uncomfortable. Stay away.

I had my GMC Denali repaired t...

I had my GMC Denali repaired there in March of 2012, As part of the repair they needed to replace the instrument cluster which was done as warranty by GM. Randy Marion replaced the cluster prior to getting the OK from GM. Upon pick up I was asked to pay the full amount of the repair including to cost of the cluster with the assurance that it would just take a "couple of day's" to be reimbursed. As of today I have yet to see the money. I was given every excuse for the problem from "The accounting person has been sick" to "We are busy closing out the month" If this is the way they treat customers it is no wonder GM needed the bailout. Beware of this dealership!!!!!

I have been going to the service department at Randy Marion for 8 years, I am a widow and was at first leary of taking the vehicle myself, my husband had always done that. I have received consistantly great service there, they take good care of me and my car and they always work around my schedule with my grandchildren

Buy your vehicle from Randy Marion

2005 we bought our GMC Envoy XUV from Randy Marion's dealership. Very please with the sales person who was not pushy and let us make up our mind ourselves. Also, this vehicle has seen the service department several times for the regular stuff and they have met our standards of service. I would tell everyone to buy from Randy Marion for your new car, used car, or use of their service department. Randy has the best employees ever. Thank you for reading this.

Randy Marion Chevy is the best

I bought my trailblazer from this dealership years back and received the best service ever. The people are kind and know what they are talking about regarding what kind of car I was looking for. They listened to me. That was in 2003. Then in 2005 went back and bought another car. Here it is 2010 and I am ready to buy another car and will not go any place other than Randy Marion Chevy.

Great Staff, Great Experience, & Great Pricing

After several weeks of shopping I gave Randy Marion a shot. The price they gave me was almost $2000.00 cheaper than any other dealership. As a matter of fact I had another dealership tell me "If that's the deal you are getting you need to run, not walk, run to that store to take advantage of that price". I did and have been pleased every since. I would strongly suggest everyone give this dealer a chance.

A Role Model for Automobile Dealerships!!!

To say that I had a great experience at Randy Marion would be an understatement. I shopped extensively before going to Randy Marion. I was especially surprised to find the exact unit I was searching for(no other dealer in the area had the car on their lot that I was looking for). For the first time in my shopping experience the sales rep. took the time to show me what I was getting for my money. I learned several things about the vehicle during this presentation that I did not know about the vehicle. Not only did I get a better deal on the vehicle I was buying, but I also got an extra $800.00 on my trade. After signing the paperwork I was surprised to meet Mr. Marion in the showroom. He said he wanted to take the time to thank me for my business. My purchase took place nearly two years ago, and I am happy to say that the service I have received from the service department has nearly exceeded my sales experience. I would strongly recommend this dealership to anyone who wants a new Chevrolet, Pontiac, or Buick.

SAVE YOUR MONEY~DO NOT BUY OR SERVICE FROM HERE!

I WENT TO RANDY MARION TO GET MY TRUCK LOOKED AT BECAUSE THE ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON. SINCE IT WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY, I DIDN'T HAVE TO GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL DEALERSHIP THAT I HAD BOUGHT IT FROM. AFTER THEY RAN THE TESTS, THEY TOLD ME THAT A SENSOR WENT BAD, AND THAT THEY HAD THE PART TO REPLACE IT. wE WOULD THEN BE ABLE TO PICK UP OUR YUKON LATER THAT EVENING. WELL, COME TO FIND OUT THAT THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE PART TO REPLACE IT. IT WAS IN THEIR COMPUTER, BUT DIDN'T ACTUALLY HAVE ONE. WHATEVER! SO I ASKED MY SERVICE GUY, CASEY, WHEN IT WOULD BE READY TO BE PICKED UP. I WAS INFORMED THAT MONDAY AFTERNOON I COULD GO AND GET IT. I TOLD HIM THAT MY HUSBAND GETS OFF WORK AT 4 AND WILL BE THERE SHORTLY AFTER TO PICK IT UP. EVERYTHING WAS SET AND READY AT THIS POINT. WHEN MY HUSBAND WENT TO GET IT, IT WAS STILL BEING WORKED ON. WE RECIEVED NO PHONE CALLS OR ANYTHING ABOUT IT NOT BEING READY. VERY INCONVENIENT! IT'S ALL ABOUT COMMUNICATION! WHEN I CALLED TO SPEAK TO CASEY, HE WAS VERY SPACED OUT. HE TOLD ME THAT I WAS RIGHT, BUT OFFERED NO SOLUTION. I ASKED IF THEY COULD DELIVER MY VEHICLE TO MY HUSBAND'S WORK TOMORROW (10 MILES AWAY), BUT TOLD ME THAT THEY DON'T HAVE ENOUGH STAFF TO OFFER THAT. ALL I ASKED FOR WAS COMMUNITCATION. THERE WAS NO SYMPATHY TOWARD OUR SITUATION AND HAD AN "I DON'T CARE" ATTITUDE TOWARDS ME AND MY HUSBAND. VERY BLANK AND UNPROFFESSIONAL. NO APPOLOGIES.



PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GET YOUR VEHICLE MAINTAINED. IT WILL BE WORTH IT. THE PEOPLE HERE DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS, JUST THE MONEY THEY GET!!
