Darlington Motel & Cottages

Another great stay @ the Darlington Inn and Cottages!! The VERY BEST place to stay @ Myrtle Beach (#6 for us) it is EXTREMELY CLEAN, Priced fairly, and pet friendly! Love the NO "housekeeping" knock on the door at 8 am to having FREE access to a gas grill any day or night with the kids playing corn hole, eating at the cute tiki hut covered table while listening to some good music! The ocean view from our room and the pool is always amazing! And when you do want to go to the beach your about 150 ft away! My family and I will only stay at the Darlington until we are able to buy our own beach house....well a woman can dream! Thanks Terry for everything you know we will be back soon!! Hoping to be back before the summer is up ;)

We took an unexpected trip to Myrtle Beach and had checked into another pet friendly "hotel" and immediately checked out, it was terrible. We went driving up and down the beach looking for another pet friendly place to stay and found The Darlington. The owner and his family were amazing! We rented a one bedroom cottage from him that was exceptionally nice. The rate was also fantastic, especially for as nice of a place as we got. We had a great time and are already recommending the place to our friends and family. Thank you for a great, fun stay!

We stayed @ The Darlington motel room number 301 from Fri 5/27 until Mon 5/30 ~Memororial Day weekend. And I have to say this is THE BEST place I've EVER vacationed at. The ocean view is so beautiful and it's pool is right on the strip. The rooms are very nice, clean, and very affordable. They have full kitchens and the owners are GREAT!!! They literally caterred to our every need an want. They never complained- no matter how many times we asked for more towels or anything. As we layed out by the pool the owner brought us ashtrays as needed, more towels, and beer covers for our beers. Also he is very respectful and easy going. He has a cell number posted on the front office door for you to call him 24 hrs a day/night if you have any problems. And we never had any problems but if we needed to call for anything he always answered!!!! And was pleased to get us what we needed. I would recommend this motel to everyone I know. Whether for a weekend get away or a whole week of family fun--- this motel will make your vacation worth your stay. I have stayed @ Myrtle Beach many times @ different motels and hotels and this one takes 1st place against even the suites b/c they treat you like family and make sure you are taken care of. I promise everyone who reads this and decides to stay @ The Darlington----You will be so glad you chose them!!!! Thank you to The Darlington motel owner I can't remember your name but thank you!!!!

The staff is great, the ocean view is spectacular, Every Wed night you can watch the fireworks show front & center from your private balcony because it sits across from the light house pier. Milli, Sherry and Carl are fabulous & make you feel like family. Clean, quite and family oriented. I will always stay at the Darlington. Thanks crew.
