Majestic Massage & Day Spa

I got a couples massage, facial, and manicure/pedicure. The massage and facial were great. My mani/pedi however, was not. The girl who did them (Andie) was polite but not personable and was very rushed. Instead of doing a thorough job she talked about herself (she is a cage fighter #8 in the world and #13 out of 25 hottest female fighters). She hardly massaged my feet and didn't buffer my feet well, so my heels were/are still rough. She also rushed through my manicure and because the polish was so light I didn't notice that she missed the sides on a few of my nails and on my left big toenail. I also noticed today that she didn't push the cuticles back enough so my nails look like they were done at least a week ago when it's only been three days. When I wrote to the manager she was polite but defended Andie (though her work was not good) so I will never return to this spa and I also urge anyone who decides to go there NOT to get a manicure or pedicure from Andie.

My boyfriend and I went for the couples massage for our anniversary. His masseuse was wonderful! She introduced her self, got to know us, and gave him great tips on how to stretch his sore muscles. My masseuse however, was very rude (Caucasian about 5'5 with medium length hair in a high pony tail)!! She didn't introduce herself (so i didn't catch her name) nor did she ask my name or get to know me. She just waked in and started the massage which didn't really make me feel comfortable. My boyfriends masseuse asked where his sore spots were and what areas she needed to focus on, mine didn't say a word. It felt as if she didn't even want to do my massage. She didn't even tell me when it was over, she just rested a wet towel on my shoulder and walked out. After she left, my boyfriends masseuse asked us if we enjoyed the massage which was my only notice that it was over. The only time she addressed me, other than to turn over half way through, was when she collected my money. Ive had a full body hot stone massage from another spa before so I know whats to be expected. Here a hot stone massage only includes two hot stones. I'm not sure how it is other places but the spa I had been to before used more. The atmosphere was beautiful and the massage was ok, but the poor service I received from her ruined my whole experience and I won't be returning.

The atmosphere was very relaxing: pleasant aromatherapy, soothing music. I received the deep tissue massage. I work on a computer and get knots in my shoulders, she worked them out. My husband also received a deep tissue massage. There are 2 therapists and we were both very satisfied.
