Hertz

The staff was friendly but the first car I was provided had a bulging tire that nobody inspected before leaving the store even after I asked them to do so, instead they just brought me another vehicle. The car was ok, but the woman who had it before me bathed in her perfume and for three days I drop with the windows down in 30 degrees wearing hats and gloves while I waited for my car to be repaired in Nashville. I was not told about the 200 dollar hold that would be put on my bank card either before or after I made the reservation. Both cars I believe have never been to a service station for basic maintenance just by the way the drove. At least they were courteous.

I was very disappointed when I got to the counter and was denied the rental car I had already payed for. My debit card has a max daily limit and that is all I had with me since I had already pd for the car in full. However, when I got to the airport coming all the way from NE I was told they needed to charge my card $200 security deposit. I had cash, but not enough the card and the employees refused to work with me. Instead I walked to the Alamo/National counter where they worked with me to get me a rental car so my kids and I would not be left stranded 3 hrs from our destination. P. Gerking
