General Towing & Recovery

After an accident on the freeway, their tow driver refused to take our car where requested, because he wanted to be paid and nobody was there. Then before we could pick it up from the tow yard, he took it there anyway and tried to charge us for two tows. When we finally convinced them that that was unacceptable, and paid for the one tow, we saw that they had (without reason) opened the hood on the car and messed around under there. Called and complained about the fresh hood pin damage and evidence, they denied, of course. I let them know that I would do all I could do to make sure I did my part to keep as many folks as possible from using their shady business full of shady people. (With much worse language). Done!

While following my vehicle to my chosen repair facility the driver takes my car the opposite direction. Their dispatcher informed me that the driver was going to pick up an impounded car for the police. Upon complaining to the owner he stated that police, fire, and ambulance take priority over all else. This made my car late for repairs resulting in an added day in the shop. Avoid the delays, headaches, and arguments..avoid General towing!
