Stain Removal
T he most important thing about spot removal is never scrub the spot ! Always blot the area with a light colored cloth or plain white paper towel. Aggressive scrubbing with a brush or towel will almost always set the stain and distort the carpet face yarns.
M y name is Jeff Manuel, and I have been the owner and operator of Hydra Clean since April 1, 2015. Hydra Clean was founded in May, 1975 by G.E. “Scotty” Scott. Scotty owned Hydra Clean for 8 years until he retired. Dan Ausili became the new owner and operator and continued that role for 32 years until retirement. Hydra Clean was one of the first carpet cleaning companies in central Illinois to use the newly developed truck mounted hot water extraction carpet cleaning system. This new technology revolutionized the carpet cleaning industry. Carpets and furniture could now be thoroughly cleaned in the customer's home with better results and faster drying time. Hence the phrase “Mobile Carpet cleaning plant” was born. I worked for Dan for two years and learned a great deal from him.
