I had a great experience - the hygienst was very nice and did a good job cleaning the teeth. First she used the water device which relaxed my gums and then a manual pick, and finally floss.

We were so happy once we found Dr. Rubin. After scouring the internet for a more naturally minded dentist, Dr. Rubin was exactly what we were looking for. Her demeanor put both my small children at ease and we have been thrilled with the service every time.

I first visited Dr. Rubin to have my mercury fillings removed. She did an excellent job of making sure that the filling fragments were caught and were not swallowed or inhaled. I have used her as my regular dentist ever since. She does VERY thorough cleanings and generally takes very good care of my teeth.

Since the amalgam removal my health has increased by 98%. All precautions were taken in the chair and supplements outside of the office visit.
After removal the following symptoms disappeared:
1) pian in arms
2) persistant right sided stomach pain
3) all chronic fatigue symptoms disappeared
4)ability to have full arm motions
5)legs feel light
6)no more dry eyes
7) skin rashes going away

Dr. Rubin is the best dentist I've ever had in terms of explaining what the issues are, what the treatment options are, preventative care and follow up. She also carries out procedures in a calm, competent manner, so that I have had less anxiety during the visits, and the healing process afterward has been even quicker than she predicted. I started seeing Dr. Rubin 3 months ago. My first cleaning made my teeth were sparkle! She effectively treated the beginning stages of gingivitis and reversed it with a deep cleaning and herbal treatment so now I have healthy gums. I am very pleased to be in her care and she is very knowledgeable about overall health issues when it comes to dental work, including risks of mercury fillings and flouride. The convenient midtown location is icing on the cake!
