Tri State Towing & Recovery

This Past Saturday Night, This Company during the Saint Anthony's Carnival in Wilmington, DE, Towed my Son's Car from the Boston Market, First it was 255.00 to drop it back there that night or 210.00 Sunday morning all cash! I drove my son all the way from Wilmington to S.Chapel Street in Newark De. we arrived at 11:20p the sign said they close at 12 midnight we called and they said an on-call would contact us, noone did after repeated calls we left to pick it up the following morning, then were told we needed an appointment only after I called the police, did a women call and say after 1p , we went all the way back to S. Capel, the Guy did not have any info on the truck at ll, he wrote the ticket in front of us, we paid 210.00 have receipt, now today (monday) they are calling saying they need the vin number and tag to the truck or it will be reported stolen from their lot, WELL, In their obvious gouging and frauding of the people to grab the almighty dollar, they screwed up, as THE TRUCK was never in their possession or on their lot! and myslf or my son can only report it stolen, soooooo .. I think its work 210.00 for the info to clear their system since THEY ACTUALLY STOLE OUR TRUCK! and fraudently charged us the 210.00.On the phone they were they were rude, Guy at counter was nice, but the subtle threat on the voicemail is eating away at me I called The Wilmington police and I am in the right!

My sister's car was towed in error earlier in the week and based on that error her car was returned free of charge. Unfortunately because of their error I guess they have a bad taste in their mouth about not getting their money for the first towing so they towed her again two days later because her inspection sticker was not secure. When I called to try and get this situation rectified I was greeted with disrespect and sarcasm. I'm going to continue to fight for my sister and try to speak with "Michell" who is the vice president. If they do not comply we will take them to small claims court for reimbursement. I'll definitely keep everyone posted.

I have used this company numerous times, and on many occasions. they are friendly and reliable. I would recommend them to all of my friends and family... and believe me , I have!!
