For our recent stay on Folly Beach, my friends and I decided to rent six bikes from Carolina Bike and Beach. What an awesome decision! Ordering was easy; a few clicks of the mouse and our order was confirmed. The bikes were delivered at 8am on the morning of our arrival by a very respectful, cheerful young man. When our vacation ended, we simply left the bikes where Sean had originally parked them. Delivery and pick-up was effortless on our part. During our week long stay, we put many miles on those bikes and never once encountered a problem. The bikes were well maintained, comfortable, and nice looking. We gladly and proudly pedaled all over the island - exercise and sunshine! Since our trip, I've had the pleasure of communicating with the owner of Carolina Bike and Beach. I can honestly say, Richard Sweat is committed to ensuring that your bike experience is a pleasurable one. He and his staff work tirelessly, dawn to dusk, providing an excellent product and excellent customer service. Renting bikes from Carolina Bike and Beach was truly an awesome decision!

My family and I had a great vacation at Kiawah Island, SC that was made even more enjoyable by having Bikes, chairs and umbrellas waiting for us when we arrived at our Condo.

Carolina Bike & Beach had everything we needed so we didn't have to worry about trying to fit all the extra gear in our car.

Everything was in great condition and when we woke up on our 2nd day, to find a flat tire on one of the bikes, they came out promptly and replaced the bike so we could get right back out on the beautiful bike paths around Kiawah.

I will certainly be using Carolina Beach & Bikes, on our next vacation in the Beautiful, friendly City and Islands of Charleston and recommend them to anyone. I give them a 5 Star rating.

I spent a great week at the beach on Kiawah Island with friends , great golfing, beautiful beaches and nature.

We rented Bikes, umbrellas and a couple if boogie boards from Carolina Bikes everything we got was in good condition. The bikes are great for exploring the nature if the Island as well as just riding to restaurants etc.

I would say you should take advantage of the beautiful paths throughout Kiawah and for great equipment waiting for you when you check in, call Rick at Carolina Bikes and Beach. Nice guy and he also gave us some great ideas on other things to do around the area.

Owner/operator is rude and arrogant.

The business dropped off our bikes in timely manner; however one bike did not pedal at all! We called the business (4:50pm) and were told they wouldn't be able to get a bike replacement out that day and would do so by 10 am the next morning. I called to try and get the replacement sooner so we could get to the beach earlier. The woman I spoke with was rude on the phone and actually told me our delivery for the replacement would be more like 10:30 (was she going to call and even update me?). I explained my frustration very nicely and she made no attempt to offer any sort of compensation for the issue. Extremely disappointed in customer service and business who clearly does not test bikes before delivering them!
