Dance Explosion

Do not.. I repeat DO NOT sign your kids up at this dance school. The owner Barbara does not follow through with her word and does not care about your child's education. My child has been attending this dance school for 4+ years. She is in competition and needless to say I have spent thousands of dollars. Recently her grades has fallen and she has been acting out in school. Therefore, I took her out of dance so she can focus on her school work. Oh, I forgot to mention that they have practice 5-6 times a week for several hours a day. When I took her out Barbara called her mother to see if it was okay with her that she is removed. My concern is why would you call her mother; when I am her father and I am the only one who pays the bill for this school removed her out. Barbara was suppose to call me within 3 days to tell me my refund amount for tuition and she never did. A week and half later I went up to the school and she refused to give me my money back unless my ex wife agrees. My second concern is that I am the sole bill payer for this school so why does my ex wife need to agree?? To make a long story short the police had to come to the school and Barbara had to give me my refund. She was suppose to call my by Friday to tell me when I can expect it and my refund amount. It is now Tuesday and she hasn't called. So I have to make another trip. Oh and most importantly Barbara said to me and in front of the officer that she cares more about my child's dance class then she does about her education. She said this three times.. Is this the type of person and organization you would want your child involved in??? Please continue your search for a better dance school.
