Leisure Depot

My wife and I stopped by Leisure Depot on Dorchester to look and see. We looked around and was approached by a sales person, Larry Walker who showed us furniture for our new screened porch through different eyes. He showed us the benefits of furniture that we did not think of and how, in the long run, we would save money on what we ended up purchasing. He sale style was comfortable and didn't seem to be pushy. We liked that we could add to or take away items at a later date. We were also able to have the furniture stored at the store until we were ready to place it on our new porch. All and all a very good experience. We paid more than we expected, but we bought a better quality furniture which will last for a long time and save us money later on.

My wife and I had agreat experience. So many items to choose from and a professional team of knowledgeable emplouees. Most noteably, Luke worked with us for nearly two hours and helped us find exactly what we needed for our new home in the Charleston area. Awesome job!

Our sales person Sandy spent the time to make sure we got the outdoor furniture that we wanted. It was a pleasure doing business with her and will recommend her and Leisure Depot to our friends and family.

Awful experience!! Purchased an above ground pool. Paid installers $1375 and have the timer still in the box, the simple salt system attachments, yep still in box. No explanation of how to hook up. Lowered pool down 6in, had 6ft high mound of dirt left in back yard. Never again! Called them to get guidance on how to use simple salt system. Their response was look in the box!!! Seriously?!? I never write reviews but this one was necessary. Please look elsewhere when purchasing a pool..

Customer Service and Service Department are highly unreliable. We had a rip in our liner under warranty which arrived in the store in February. It is now the end of May and the liner is still in the store and we do not have a working pool. We have called several times only to get the same answer, "she paperwork is in progress". Apparantly, the warranty given with the initial purchase is not worth anything.

We have bought a number of items for our pool deck from them. Always great customer service and helpful advice.

Great place for all of your outdoor needs. Leisure Depot has high quality products at reasonable prices. The staff is extremely helpful and made my hot tub and pool buying experience a breeze. Since our purchase, Dana has been great in providing the proper chemicals by testing our water at no charge. She always has a smile on her face and is very knowledgeable about the different products.

If you are looking for a place that has great customer service and can have you swimming before you know it Leisure Depot is the place. Anthony was great and took the time to help me compare their pools to others. When we decided on a pool the transaction was quick and they had my order ready the next day. We bought a hot tub from Leisure Depot several years ago. While recently looking for their phone number, I stumbled across some negative reviews which prompted me to write this one. I normally don't take the time to write a review, but I want everyone to know what a great company Leisure Depot is! This is our first hot tub. The salesman took his time in explaining the different models and features of various hot tubs so we were educated in our choice. Anytime I have a question about maintaining our hot tub, they are very patient and more than willing to help. We have enjoyed our hot tub on cool Charleston nights, and I know we will continue to enjoy it for many years to come because of the quality products Leisure Depot offers and the education provided in maintaining them!

We recently bought a pool from Leisure Depot. I wish all purchases/experiences could be that smooth. We spoke with the salesman and told him exactly what we looking for, and he was able to pair us with the best pool for our needs/wants! He also provided us different options for payment. The pool was expertly installed within a week of purchase. Any and all questions were answered promptly and with 100% satisfaction. The pool looks beautiful in our backyard, and we look forward to a wonderful summer in our new oasis. Thanks, Leisure Depot for playing a big part in creating family memories!

we bought our pool from leasure depot last year and i must say they were great. the fast delivery and install was great and everyone you talk to from there was very helpful with learning to keep the chemicals correct.i would recommend them to all my friends.

We bought our above ground pool from Leisure Depot. I knew nothing about pools. The staff was very patient and more than willing to help me learn. They told me everything I needed to do, to maintain the pool. When we bought the pool, it even came with a CD answering all my questions. I continuously call Leisure Depot for any and all questions that I have pertaining to my pool and they are always more than willing to help me. Our pool was bought and installed with in 2 weeks. The guys that came to install the pool were fast and nice. I recommend Leisure Depot to all my friends. Thank you Leisure Depot for great service!

I want to thank the good folks at Leisure Depot for all of their help! I went in with a huge problem balancing my spa chemicals. They spend a lot of time educating me on everything I needed to know and what I was doing wrong. I am a customer for life!!

This was the worst experience of my life with any business. There is no customer service or friendly attitudes, especially after you have made the purchase, only excuses and broken promises. I'm amazed how they stay in business with such a poor attitude toward their customer. It's such a shame. Again i have never felt so unappreciated as a paying customer ever!!

Poor customer service. I purchased a wicker bar set from them (which was overpriced anyway but I really liked it). Their guys were nice enough to load it all up in the truck while I was taking care of things inside. When I came out, they told me I was good to go and I was on my way. Made it just a few miles down the road and the wicker bar flew out of the back of my truck onto Dorchester hwy. When I called to explain the issue, the fellow I spoke to said that their men are not allowed to tie items down. That would have been perfectly fine if someone would have told me that. I asked what they could do and he told me they'd order a new one but I'd have to pay for it. Now I'm SOL with a messed up table. I spoke to three different people and got the same 'sorry for your luck' attitude.

Had a pool installed and was left with a huge mess.
