Caminito Steakhouse

Went there while visiting UMass in April. Best steak I ever had period. The chimichurri sause was fantastict. I will go back anytime I am in the area.

June 4, 2006 I went for a meal and good evening out; I was told Caminito's offered good steak entres. I'll never go back!The waitress was obviously new which is fine; we all need to start somewhere. The appetizers were pretty good, unfortunately I had the Bife de Chorizo, it was terrible. To start, I asked for medium and got medium rare. A good size steak but the first inch on the outside was all fat. By the time I got to the meat I could only eat two bites, the rest was mostly gristle. I asked the waitress to take it away because it was a bad piece of meat.I can forgive a restaurant for a bad meat, it happens. But I can not forgive a restaurant for poor management. I asked to have the $21 meal removed from the bill but instead the manager took off the $7.00 appetizer. Why would a manager discount the part of the meal that I enjoyed? I informed the manager it was the worst piece of meat I ever had, he didn't even offer an apology. I'll never go back simply because of the manager!
