Location and parking are unfortunate, but they make downtown worth going to. Most of the staff are very helpful and cheerful. We are happy the teen department is now staffed and there are beginning to be some interesting teen programs! The children's dept. is exceptional, both in the material selection, the space and the programs offered. The adult non-fiction collection is pretty lacking and uneven. There are occasionally interesting adult programs but I wish there were more of a variety and more often. The new Smithsonian exhibit is impressive. The biggest deterrent is the riff raff that loiter in the adult computer section every time I'm there. Makes me want to do my business quickly and leave unless I'm going upstairs with my children, it's a much better clientele up there usually.
