Uncle Chick's Car Wash

I Give it a 1 star only because I can't put 0. By far the worst Customer service I have ever dealt with, let me remind you I work In customer service so I know how it is so it takes a pretty poor experience for me to write a negative review on it. Spent an hour at this car wash today, cleaning out and detailing my car before I used the vacuum, rug scrub, etc. I had a FEW items in my trunk which did include some broken glass from a flower vase I had back there that had fallen out of the box. (hence why I was at the car wash) Threw that in the garage can between the two self use vacuums, put $1.25 in to use the vacuum, and my quarters got stuck, there is NO return change button on the vacuum machine, There is NO place to insert bills there to make quarters and NO place for a credit/debit card to receive cash back and the vacuum only accepts quarters. I didn't want to have to drive to a local gas station to get change just to come back, so after about 20 minutes of me messing with the machine trying to get my quarters back I ended up finding a few more quarters deep down in my purse to use for a different machine. Mean while, a bald man comes out and starts taking out some of the trash, asked if I was finished with the garbage can, I replied "Yes I am, Thank You" He just seemed like someone who came to pick up the trash from time to time. wasn't sure if he was management or anything or else I would have mentioned something about the machine taking my quarters... He then came back for another garbage that happen to be right in front of my car and I suppose my car door was in the way so he took it upon himself to close my car door, and extremely rude, went on to tell me that I shouldn't have put that much garbage in there(I did not put that much, it was practically full when I got there), it costs him "too much money", if I wanted somewhere to go and dumb my trash I should go to a dump because this is a "carwash." As he is stepping over my floor mats that I put on the ground so that I could VACCUM OUT MY CAR. I know he saw me messing with the machine but never bothered to ask if there was a problem or if I needed help. I made it very clear that I was offended and I told him I was trying to vacuum and wash my car but HIS machine took my quarters and there was no quarter machine and that if he doesn't want specific items in his trash can he should make a sign somewhere stating so. He completely ignored me and walked away. I was so furious I put all of my things back in my car and left, didn't even end up vacuuming my car.

With that being said, even though this place is convenient for me, you could not pay me enough to come back and spend a dime at this place.

just got charged $25.00 for a car wash that i thought i was being charged $3.00 for, total ripoff!!!

This used to be a good place to wash your car. Now that they raised the starting price, it's just too much, since the start time for every selection in the self wash station takes forever to switch.
