NY Nail

I love going there but they need to update their hours online. When I told the lady on the phone that the internet said Open until 8 she said okay and hung up. Very rude considering an apology or something would have been nice.

Everyone in the salon seems nice but I'm disappointed with the outcome of the service. When the tech started, I told her I wanted pointed nails and a long length. She basically tried to talk my out of the length because of the price, which should not bother her at all. It's my money and I'll use it as I please. When she began to file my nails she rounded them instead of pointed. Asked her to point it more and showed a picture of what I wanted so she tried again. When my nails were complete I noticed some were rounded some where pointed. My nails were not all the same length and I don't mean they were off just a little bit, there was a complete difference. I asked her to fix the lengths and she said she would make the shorter. Hell no! I paid for $10 extra for a long length you're not making anything shorter. I should have asked for my money back but all sales are final and she did do something. Needless to say I will never go back there ever again!

I have been going here several months now and love the service I get! The people are friendly and know what they are doing! Yes, the first thing they have you do is pick your color. Isn't that why you're there? Lol. I've never felt rushed or out of place.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! My mom and I went in for pedicures, a fill for her and a manicure for me.... Horrible horrible horrible. Both of our pedicures are sharp, rough, and bumpy. My manicure was so fast I coukda held my breath the entire time. Though she did paint nicely. My mom's fill was painted nicely, but the guy forgot about the sides, left her fingers uneven and rough. We are never going back.

I've been going to this nail salon for several months and really like it. Everyone is really friendly. I normally have the same guy do my nails and he's great.

Honestly I would give this business a zero. I came in with my sister and we both had awful service. As soon as we walked in to the salon we were rushed to pick a color and get started. That should have been the red flag to indicate to leave but we stayed (BIG MISTAKE!!!) I asked my technician to do a pointy full set and I may as well had not asked for anything. She couldn't do it at all. I showed her an example of what I wanted and she still couldn't do it after I filed my first nail to show her what I wanted. Finally she asked the manager of the salon to help her and my nails were mismatched. My right hand was pointy and my left hand was circular. When I complained, and I am never one to make a scene, the manager started arguing with me. This was the WORST SALON I have ever been to with the least experienced technicians I have ever encountered. Oh by the way, the other technician cut my sister's cuticles to the point that they bled, which should never happen. Waste of money as I had to go home, take the nail polish off, file them again and repolish. Go at your own risk.

I'm only giving them that ONE star because it's required. I'd rather give them no stars. I got my eyebrows waxed and gel polish. First, I felt absolutely rushed through the whole thing... from picking out my color, to the whole process of my nails, then waiting for eyebrows to be done. Isn't it about the customer? I felt like I was an inconvience and I should have just walked out after he spent a whole five minutes on my nails. And she did an awful job on my brows. I'm definitely sticking to Silo down the road. They are so much better!!!

I have been going to them since the owners were only dating 12 yrs ago! Service is great and they are open every day! They serve wine with your pedi, how relaxing!!
