We came to Dr. Howell after being with our previous dentist for 5 years. Dr. Howell and his staff immediately made our son feel comfortable. His dental health care has been met and exceeded @Orem Pediatric Dentistry. I have been 100% satisfied and reccomend Orem Pediatric Dentistry to everyone. We consider Dr. Howell & staff friends. They are always welcoming and friendly. When it comes to treatment I am always fully informed on treatment options as well as insurance coverage and pricing. I appreciate this immensely! Worst experience! They gave me the wrong appointment time after which my daughter woke up from her anesthesia like a total scared and upset. Once I got her home, I realized they did the wrong treatment! They refused to own up to their mistake and in no way helped to rectify the issue! Will never go to them again.

My daughter has a complex medical history so she was terrified to go to the dentist. They were so good. And she got great care. I would recommend them to anyone.

Our 4 yr old had a cavity between his front teeth...we were given the option between a $600 crown or extracting his teeth. We debated between the crown and extraction...Dr Howell told us there were no risks or downsides to extracting his teeth. We decided to have his teeth extracted since he'd be losing them in the next year or two anyway and Dr Howell agreed with our decision. Two days later our son developed a severe infection in his gums. Dr Howell asked us to come in three seperate times to check up on our son...each visit lasted 15 min or less. Not once were we told we'd be billed for those visits; we assumed it was part of the cost of extraction. A couple weeks later we were billed $242...each 15 min checkup cost over $80. Our son now has damage to his gums due to the infection. Dr Howell took no accountability or responsibility for the situation. He was also un-apologetic. I asked him to reconsider the $242 bill given the circumstances. He ignored my request and simply sent us a "late notice" bill.

All the assistants are great and make the kids feel comfortable. The decor and movies help the kids like coming and they feel safe. Laura was our assistant today and was awesome. Dr. Howell is quick with the kids so the whole process is not so agonizing. Thanks!

The office Staff was friendly but the dentist was not very personable. The first thing he told me when I came in was that he is very sensitive to people and their financial situations. However, after finding out that my child had 3 very small cavities, the office manager gave me estimates of $517 for 3 white fillings or $85 for 3 silver caps. and YES I had insurance. I asked about silver fillings and he said my insurance onlypaid a small amount and I would have to pay the difference between what my insurance paid and what they actually charge. That my friends is called double billing and its Illegal..........Not only are their prices high but they aren't very ethical in their practices. I will never recommend someone to them.

My family and I went to this dentist. I didn't really like the dentist much, and their prices are higher than most in the area. The quality of the work is good, but it didn't seem to make up for it. I would keep looking around.

Taking my child to the Pediatric Dentistry in Orem was the best decision I could've made for my child and our family. Dr. Howell and his staff were very friendly and helpful. They made sure my child was happy and I left feeling more better about going to the dentist than I ever have before. I highly recommend Dr. Howell and his specially trained staff! They cared about my childs well being, my concerns, and made it a fun day for me and my kids.
