Capt. Jack's Family Buffet - Thomas Drive

You pay $40 for the buffet at a place that is supposed to have #1 crab legs. Was not worth it at all. The food was not good. Very disappointed and would never recommend anyone to eat there. There was 7 of us. 4 adults and 3 children. So our bill was over $200. Extremely disappointed and upset that we paid that much for food that wasn’t good and 2 of us got sick.

The restaurant was a bit pricey but I thought well worth it. You could spend a few bucks less per plate somewhere else but won't get the quality. Crab legs were always hot and full. Perfectly cooked!! We had an awesome server. He was busy as hell and still took super care of us. Table was never full of empty dishes and out glasses never empty! If you're will to spend the money you won't be disappointed!!

The place is very overpriced for little selection. The crab legs are bland, though plentiful. The management is cheap. My wife was hit by flying shards of broken plates that were dropped by a waiter. I had to ask the waiter if he could give us a discount. The manager came over asking if he could help us, implying that he did not talk to the waiter about it. He acted if I was asking for money from HIS pocket, after explaining what happened and that my wife was still in pain. No cuts, thankfully. He grudgingly gave her the employee discount. 20% off HER meal. Basically he took the tax off. Never eat there.

The lunch buffet was well worth the price. But we wouldn't even eat the dinner buffet for 29.99 for crab legs on the bar for all you can eat. Reasonably priced for a quick all eat buffet.

If you like Seafood, you want find a better place to eat great food for the money. A wide range of seafood to chose from. We make at least two visits here when were in town. I love Seafood my next visit is next week

Good meal, shrimp scampi was great and of crap legs were plentiful. A little on the pricey side though....

The crab legs were good and plentiful. The rest of the buffet was very disappointing. Desert selection was good and the deserts were good, not exceptional. If it were not for the crab legs, it would have been really disappointing.
