Quite outdated on everything!

I've taken my Audi to Jerry 3 times. The first for a window regulator went without a hitch, then I did a timing belt and pulled out of the shop with a disconnected turbo hose. Not a big deal, but it should have been a warning sign. 3rd time I went for a simple thermostat, and the next morning I spot a river of oil beneath my car. The neighboring oil cooler was clearly damaged during Jerry's thermostat job. The man honestly expected me to believe that the oil cooler failed the moment I left his lot, and that the 2 jobs had anything to do with eachother. I'm a reasonable person, and would have been fine with covering the cost of parts, but for Jerry to also profit from his blatant mistake and charge me labor is flat out disgusting. Grand total I ended up paying $900 for a $40 thermostat. I get the impression that Jerry was once a great mechanic, but has clearly gotten careless in his old age. Not only are his repairs sloppy, but his shop, office, and lot are disgusting. It smells of chain smoking and the lot is so crammed with abandoned cars that you can barely navigate the lot. This guy doesn't care about his work, and he definitely doesn't care about your business. Please go elsewhere.
