This review is based on a negative experience with Travis Towing. They have contracts to tow illegally parked cars from apartment parking lots. My daughters car, who is a tenant of the apartment building, had her car towed at an expense of $200.00. The parking permit was not visible in the front or rear window of the car. Her car is registered with the apartment building. In today's world, with computers, the towing service should have access to a database with the registered vehicles of his contracted apartment parking lots. I am left with the impression, the owner doesn't care about the fact he took money from a college grad student, who had to use Christmas money, she received as gifts to help her with bills. If it seams that I am going for a sympathy angle, I am. I will check with the apartment building owner to see if Travis Towing improves it's procedure of towing registered vehicles. A slight positive note, the owner did waive the $40.00 lot fee, when I asked if he would give my daughter a break.

I broke down and I started calling around. First company I called came quickly. Fair price. I'm gonna keep using Travis towing.

I recently was driving over to South Side and had a flat in the middle of rush hour... horns were honking...angry drivers were whizzing past me...it was nerve-racking...I looked up Pittsburgh towing on my cell and found Travis Towing right away...I dialed the number and DID NOT get an answering machine...the voice on the line told me not to worry, stay in the car and he would have a driver there within 10-15 minutes...the driver came when promised, took care of the flat tire, and I was on my way in no time...the service was fast, courteous and reasonable...I highly recommend you call Travis Towing if you have a roadside emergency while in Pittsburgh or surrounding areas...

Locked my car keys and they showed up in less than 15 minutes,very fast and reliable.

Showed up as agreed. Unlocked my door
