Dr. Thakor filed a claim to get paid by my insurance company and when I viewed the EOB, I asked what the diagnosis code was that he used. I was shocked to see that he filed the claim under a diagnosis that had nothing to do with me being in the hospital being treated for complications from chemotherapy and radiation. He poked his head in for a few minutes almost every day and filed claims for $120-$200 each time. Then, he used the wrong diagnosis code for what he was there to treat me for. I asked for a new ID doctor, but he continued stopping by, even after I asked for a new doctor. He then tried to push toxic drugs on me that were totally inappropriate for my situation. When I refused, he got upset.
