Zenna Thai & Japanese Restaurant

One of my favorite spots to eat. Service can be hit or miss. It's almost always very friendly and attentive, but this place gets so crazy busy that sometimes the service is way too slow. The food is good and I've never had any complaints. It's not top notch sushi, but it's good, affordable, and a fun atmosphere.

We have eaten in this restaurant three times, and although the food is good and reasonably priced, the restaurant has some real problems which may take it completely off our list. Number one, you are asked to choose how spicy you want your food, from 1 (not spicy) to 5 (very spicy). On all three occasions the orders came out very wrong. My husband ordered 2, his was very spicy, my granddaughter ordered 4, hers had no spice at all and I ordered a 3 and it was perfect. The waitress spilled liquid all over the floor behind me and behind my granddaughter and NEVER cleaned it up, an accident waiting to happen. It was not busy, we were their first customers on Sunday morning, so there was no excuse for the sloppy, slick floors. When our waitress brought our bill, we asked about fortune cookies, which we had been given on the two previous visits, and she became really rude and told us "we don't do that." When I protested that we had been given the cookies on the two prior visits, she became very rude and snapped that she had worked there for 6 months and they had never done that. We have been in three times in the past 3 weeks and on both prior visits we were given the cookies and we all laugh together at the funny predictions. I have never written a bad review for a restaurant or a server, but this was a very unnecessary bad experience. Our server's name was Sabrina and maybe she was just having a bad day, but she will not wait on us again, by our choice. I know people often do not tip well on Sundays, which is a very sad thing, but my husband tipped her 20% in spite of the sloppy floor and bad behavior. We were there for a quiet lunch and she put a damper on that for us. I hope the rest of her day went better and that the cooks will get their orders straight, if there is another time for us.

Never going back to Zenna AGAIN! The boyfriend and I come here at least once every other month and everytime we've been here we've constantly got slow service!! Doesn't matter what time of day it is. You'll get sat and it would take 10-15 minutes for them to figure out who will wait on us.
