        Did not fulfill promise on Rebate!

        They did not fulfill their promise with the rebate! They talked me into upgrading to a better set of tires because they were running a promotion through Goodyear and Discount tire. The rebate from Discount Tire was for $100 and was supposed to be shipped within 4-6 weeks. I entered the rebate online the day after I got my tires, May 16th. It is August 13th and I still have not received my rebate. I sent three emails (different days) asking why it is still in the pending stage. Since I didn t receive a response, the last email threatened to report them to the BBB. Then, they called and left a message for me to call them. When I called back, they asked what the invoice number was, the date of purchase, and the amount. They wanted to see if I had the receipt! All of the information was entered on the rebate site and I noted it in the last email that threatened to report them to BBB. Clearly they are stalling! I will not go through this company again because of the rebate program! The rebate from Goodyear was $60 and was supposed to be in the mail in 6-8 weeks. Goodyear shipped their rebate check within 4 weeks! Note: Make sure you put the date in your calendar of when you should have received your rebate. Include the phone number and the website, and be sure to keep a copy of your receipts and the rebate flyer!!! Even though the service was great, I would not go back to this company because of the hassle with the rebate!
