Description: For over 65 years, Cerebral Palsy of Westchester has been advancing the independence, productivity and full citizenship of children and adults with all developmental disabilities including autism, neurological impairments, intellectual disabilities, mental retardation, epilepsy and cerebral palsy. It has always been our purpose to help people realize their goals, build brighter futures, and lead more independent lives as members of their community. Our experienced and caring teams of professionals ensure that we offer our children and adults the very best services; through our comprehensive network of educational programs, therapeutic services, employment training, recreation and advocacy. CPW provides exceptional children's services; educational programming from preschool to 12th grade, transition services to adulthood and career services. We specialize in adult life skills, community support services including community habilitation, in home respite, residential living services case management, information and referral services. We have a variety of Saturday programs which include wheelchair basketball, social clubs, a play therapy program and a specialized program for children and young adults that have autism.
