Our experience with CertaPro of North Raleigh was a complete nightmare. There were so many things that went wrong it’s hard to write about it all. To begin, I had to chase them down to schedule the job we were then given a crew of two men (and a child helper) to paint a large 3 story home. This “crew” showed up after 9am and would then leave at noon for several hours. Needless to say the job took weeks longer than it should have. The job has actually never been completed! We had them come back out 3 additional times to paint sections and trim that were missed completely. The contract said that they would prep, sand caulk and color matching paint; there was zero sanding and no boards were caulked and they used white paint off the shelf (no matching). The front porch railings were caulked with large globs that were never cleaned up. There is overspray of paint all over windows (which will require us to hire professionals with ladders to remove) large areas of paint overspray on roof shingles (looks horrible). Also overspray on back deck and shrubs and large drips of paint on brick entry. We had to take days off from work to oversee this job which after months of back and forth has not been completed. When we posted that we would not recommend this company on our neighborhood website, the owner has refused to complete the job and is not honoring the warranty.
