Founded in 1960, St. John Vianney School is a Catholic-based educational institution that serves students in kindergarten through grade eight. It is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and Western Catholic Educational Association. The school maintains a rock band, choir, cheerleading squad, student council and physical education department. St. John Vianney School hosts work parties, workshops, exhibitions and fairs for students and families. In addition, the school promotes students participation in volleyball and football. St. John Vianney School has a parent club that offers financial assistance to poor children. Its cafeteria serves a variety of food items and beverages. The school is located in Rancho Cordova, Calif.
