Jiffy Lube

To clarify the contradicting statements given here. There was no transmission issues, however the rear differential did lock up and need to be replaced. The service should have been done at 30,000 miles and was not performed until about 70,000 despite multiple recommendations from our employees. The differential later locked up and needed to be replaced. The dealership did not honor warranty because service was not performed on time. There was fluid in the differential despite comments made above which is why even after taking us to court twice the judge found Jiffy Lube to have no fault. It is a very unfortunate and unlikely situation for a differential to lock up like that, however it had nothing to do with service at Jiffy Lube. In fact there is a good chance it would not have happened if the service was performed earlier as recommended by multiple Jiffy Lube employees.
