        Good work, low prices. Excellent for routine maintenance. Greg and staff are friendly. But if you have a real problem with computer generated alerts or similar problems, go up the street to Reno Vulcanizing rather than a dealership.

        I have no idea who/why/what/how these other two reviewers had a bad experience. I am not even sure of the truth of it. This shop is one of the best repair shops I have been to in over 50 years. They have helped some of my employees get AFFORDABLE repairs on clunkers - on two occasions allowing them to keep the car (rather than junking) and in one case still have a car. They do excellent repair work and cost less than many others and always less than a dealer. These guys are great. Now, for these two other reviewers - they are the bozos and their complaints make them look foolish at best.

        So try Sierra Automotive. They do superior work always. On second thought, they are only OK. No need to keep them too busy. I do not want to delay my repairs and auto work. I like their fast service. Perhaps only go their occasionally - so they have enough business, but can still give me fast service!! :-)

        There IS no other place for car repairs in Reno/Sparks as far as I'm concerned. George and Greg are outstanding people, excellent at what they do and extremely trustworthy. I went to them for 6 yrs and if I didn't live in Seattle now...I would STILL be going to them. They've done brake jobs for me, tires, tune-ups, oil changes and more. I would recommend them highly and too anyone.

        These guys are great, and my wife and I have been bringing our cars there for 7 years. As honest as it gets. The kind of mechanic you dont always find.

        Kind of a shady place. Woudn't give an estimate over the phone. Wanted to get my car towed there and then they would look at it. As a consumer, I would like to know what I am getting myself into. There are standard shop rates for doing jobs and these people want to get you in and close the door. Bring your checkbook to this place.

        I highly recommend this repair shop. The owner is straightforward and honest with you. We have always been very pleased with the service and have never felt like we are getting ripped off - like so many other car repair places.
