HORRIBLE PLACE!!!! HORRIBLE FOOD......Hair in food!!

Well..It definitely tops the wall of Shame for Indian food....they don't know how to make Indian food...!

1. Dahi papri has only chickpeas and potatoes...with a HINT of dahi and NO PAPDI.. I should have called it some cheakpeas-potato salad !!

2. They gave us (2 people) only "1" broken papad(I guess we were supposed to share it)

3. Horrible condiments....green chutney and red chutney were toooooo dilute...

4. Malai kofta definitely did not belong to the Indian cuisine. Malai Koft is too rich in flavor, but this one felt like I was having some re-heated/curry made with bad milk!

5. Aloo parantha had peas.... i guess leftover from last day...and by texture you can say it has been re-heated more than once!

- funny thing was, 2 people were coming in to verify, re-verify our Order!

- another funny thing, they didn't know Gobi Paratha!

- another funny thing, they didn't know difference between "Namak Para" and Papdi....

I am Indian, My name is Ashish Pandey, I am Basically from Mumbai ,india and I regularly have Indian food outside. I've been to other Indian restaurants in the area and had a decent experience ,I wanted the best Indian food for my wedding because my Wife's parents are from India and we picked in this Indian Restaurant in down town because we have tried many Indian restaurants and we found this restaurant to be the best amongst the lot. The on site tandoor with exceptional decoration and live sitar and tabla music and buffet setup we loved it all. When we went to the restaurant to settle the bill we were asked to share our experience with others and I thought of writting on the net. I can not thank anymore when I told the owners to give special attantion because I want my mother in law to be impressed and she was really impressed and I am glad we picked this indian restaurant to cater the wedding. The customer service was great.

Great Lunch Buffet

I'd driven past this restaurant about a million times without even considering the idea of stopping (probably because of the signage with the cutesy faux curry spelling). But when I wound up here with a bunch of co-workers for a fast lunch, I was glad I had. The lunch buffet is a great mix of the expected dishes (saag paneer, chicken tikka masala) with a couple of surprise veggie (potatoes, carrots, peas and cauliflower) and meat dishes (beef vindaloo, among others) whose names largely escape me. Plus veggie samosas and pakoras, two kinds of bread, madras soup and a couple of desserts that I was too full to even look at.... If you're working near 75/635, it's a tasty escape from the office.

We went there several times because we liked their food. The owner does not seem friendly. he should smile at the customers when they walk in to his establishment.
