Transmission Specialist

My husband had a transmission that was under warranty from the Ford dealership. The owner of Transmission Specialists said he could take care of it. He called back and said that there was nothing wrong with the transmission, but the transfer case was bad. So after paying him $800, the truck was still performing the same way it was before we took it to him. I took it back, he asked me to start it and roll it back and forth and then he looked under the truck and said there was nothing wrong with it. I continued to tell him the symptoms and he was adamant there was nothing wrong. I then took it back to the Ford dealership and there was no doubt that the transmission was shot! So, we paid an unnecessary $800 and Ford changed the tranny with a brand new transmission and it runs phenomenal! And unfortunately the owner of Transmission Specialists was a friend.
