Bearfoot Lodge

I am a substitute teacher at Bearfoot Sachse and I read all the reviews. I did notice that most of the bad ones are from before we got new ownership. We are nowhere near that bad anymore but we aren't perfect. The thing most parents have to remember when looking into bearfoot and reading these reviews is Renee sees potential when interviewing. Many places simply won't hire anyone without experience but Renee will if she sees potential. Then she shapes us and improves us. I think Renee is the best director we could have because she teaches us how to teach. So no we are not the best teachers in the world. Most of us are new at this and a little rough around the edges. Anyone who is starting a new career is. Are we rough with the kids? Not to my knowlege but we aren't perfect. Renee addresses it firmly and guides us. Then we act on that guidence. I personally had issues with projecting my voice too loud. Renee adressed it and gave me tips on getting the class in control without raising my voice. I used them and they worked. So yes we are rough around the edges. Yes we are new at this. And Yes we love care about your kids are excited at this opportunity to start our careers.
