Camalig Filipino Cuisine

When done right, Filipino food is tasty. This is largely due in part to the amount of meat that is to be found in their dishes. The down side is that the food can have degrees of greasiness. Filipino food usually has a higher salt content, a factor people with HBP or cardiac issues need to consider.



Camalig does not have a menu because they change most of their offerings daily. A very nice touch. They also offer exotic dishes such as dinugu-an the infamous "chocolate meat."



Camalig can be considered a true ethnic restaurant being they do not serve "americanized" versions of their food.
