Founded in 1992, the Intermountain Injury Control Research Center is a research facility that offers services to reduce the incidence and severity of injury in public health through data analysis and research, as well as public information and community injury prevention programs. The center also undertakes a number of injury-related projects and research activities. It supports more than 50 faculty and staff members who have expertise in statistics, probabilistic linkage, evaluation, injury control, trauma systems, community action, public information, information technology and epidemiology. The Intermountain Injury Control Research Center is located in Salt Lake City.
