La Fountain Restaurant

Rafael's is without hesitation my favorite Mexican restaurant. The atmosphere is inviting and comfortable, the service is friendly, and the food is fantastic. The value is also quite good....my husband and I always share a meal and still can't finish it. A couple of our favorites for this are the fajitas (best anywhere!) and the Big Burrito with chile verde. Also, don't leave without trying their tableside guacamole. They bring out all of the ingredients and make it in front of you so it's both fresh and made your way.

Rafael's is currently relocating to the Quarry Bend on 9400 South and just west of 1300 East where all of that new stuff just went in. I am having withdrawals and cannot wait until they open again!! (Projected re-opening date being April 25th)

My family and I have had the opportunity to try different mexican restaurants across the country and none of them compares to the great tasting food, fun atmosphere, friendly service, and how comfortable we felt there. This restaurant was like eating at a family members home. It serves the BEST mexican food in the state!
