Rent-A-Center

I dont know if all rent-a-centers are as ridiculous as this one but I do know that this location on ogeechee road in savannah is HORRIBLE!!!! Ive never had such a terrible experience purchasing anything. First, It took all day long to get everything squared away. I was told my phone by a young man that I would not need any money down to lease my furniture. After I finally finished the paper work on a bedroom set and a TV the MANAGER asked me for my first payment. i explained to her that I was told i wasnt going to have to make my first payment until the saturday following my next payday... (yup I was given a date and all for my first payment) anyways I went home grabbed the money for my first payment and just took care of it. I arrived at rentacenter at 11am, by the time i left it was 4pm!!!! Again, the very unfriendly MANAGER told me that my furniture would be delivered to me by 5pm the same day. I quickly ran home to clear space for the movers. 5 came and went, 6 came and went 7 came and went.. at exactly 745pm I recieved a phone call thatthey were on there way. (i live right across the street 5 minutes walking distance) An additional 30 minutes later they arrived with my things. no explaniation no appology.. nothing. just hey where do you want this type thing. i showed the young man the way to my bed room where the stuff would be going. they set it up however they felt like it. i specifically told them i wanted it face.. My husband had to take the bed apart and move it after they left. (at that point id had enough) THIS IS THE WORSE PLACE TO BUY ANYTHING FROM!!! STAY AWAY.... You can be ONE day behind and that NASTY ATTITUDE MANAGER is leaving ugly rude voicemails on your phone. and allllll of your references phones also. Take this as an honest warning and STAY AWAY
